As of October 2026, MathWorks publishes an official MATLAB MCP Server (earlier named MATLAB MCP Core Server) on GitHub, announced on its own blog. It runs locally over stdio and drives your installed MATLAB, with no sign-in of its own. It can run arbitrary MATLAB code on your machine and has anonymous telemetry on by default.
