As of October 2026, LaunchDarkly hosts an official remote MCP server at mcp.launchdarkly.com/mcp/launchdarkly, documented on its own site. It connects with OAuth and covers feature flags, AgentControl configs and observability. It is not available on federal or EU instances, which use a local server, and it can create and delete flags.

Can I use it with EU or federal LaunchDarkly?

Not the hosted one. For those instances LaunchDarkly provides a self-managed local server on GitHub.

Is LaunchDarkly a Claude connector?

Not verified. The install page offers Claude setup, but no LaunchDarkly page was found in Anthropic's directory.

Is it safe to point at production?

It can create, update and delete flags, so connect with a limited role and review calls before approving them.

Does it use OAuth?

The hosted server does. The older local npx server used an API key.
