Apollo.io MCP server & Claude connector
Does Apollo.io have an official MCP server or Claude connector?
Official
As of October 2026, Apollo.io (the sales intelligence platform) hosts an official remote MCP server at mcp.apollo.io/mcp, documented on docs.apollo.io and listed in Anthropic's directory as Anthropic verified. It signs in with OAuth. Caveat: "Apollo MCP server" is also a separate GraphQL product from Apollo GraphQL, a different company.

Auth model
OAuth 2.0 by default, scoped to the authorizing Apollo user. An optional master API key (X-Api-Key header) acts as the workspace's longest-standing admin and is not limited to one user's permissions, so avoid it where OAuth works.
- Flag
Write and delete access
Creates and updates contacts, accounts, deals and sequences, enrolls contacts, sends one-off emails and can purchase domains and mailboxes. Search and enrichment spend credits. Apollo recommends requiring approval for credit-consuming actions. Bulk delete is not supported. No read-only mode is documented.

Tool-description injection scan
Read the Claude directory tool list and Apollo's docs page; no AI-directed instructions found there beyond llms.txt metadata. Tool descriptions from the hosted server were not read.

Repo maintenance
The hosted server has no public source; apolloio/apollo-mcp-plugin (plugin and README) pushed 2026-09-16, 29 stars, MIT, not archived.

FAQ
Does Apollo.io have an official MCP server?
Yes. Apollo.io hosts one at https://mcp.apollo.io/mcp and documents it on docs.apollo.io.
Is this the same as Apollo GraphQL's MCP server?
No. Apollo GraphQL publishes a separate, self-hosted Apollo MCP Server that turns GraphQL operations into tools. It is a different company and product.
Is Apollo.io a Claude connector?
Yes. The Claude directory lists Apollo.io as Anthropic verified, added February 2026.
Does it use credits?
Yes. Company search, company and people enrichment, and job postings consume credits, and revealing phone numbers uses extra credits.
Can it send emails or change my CRM?
It can create and update contacts, accounts and deals, enroll contacts in sequences and send one-off emails. No read-only mode is documented.
